PRI KUMOVOJ KLETI (At My Kum’s Vineyard Hut)
Released by: Aquarius Records CD 385-11
Released in: 2011, Božo Potočnik
This selection contains songs whose melodies have been forgotten so they do not exist in notations or in memory. Some verses in the Križevci tradition have remained and been put to music with great respect by Božo Potočnik, wishing to reconnect the broken threads of tradition in this traditional music type that has not been paid enough attention. The author's intention has been to make the songs acceptable to new generations singing of the age-long joys of life. The compositions are stylistically based on the heritage of the broad Kajkavian dialect region, while some of them have already been confirmed in practice.
